While Grayway City’s largest corporation waved off insinuations that its CEO had not been seen in at least two months, confirmations from members of the board and others with direct knowledge indicated the executive had gone missing.
“I heard he left on a soul-searching trip to the Himalayas,” said one MasssiveCorp employee who works in the executive suites at the company. “Mr. Masssivestorm decided over the winter that he’s spiritual now.”
Shares of the company’s stock have taken steady hits since news of the disappearance first surfaced. Prices hit $37.50 today, the lowest price since the fallout from the pandemic of 2016.
“Elvis is fine. He has most definitely not left the building,” quipped Karen Masssivestorm, the CEO’s sister and member of the company board. “He just doesn’t want to go outside.”
